Holding banners and placards which read “UN intervene and stop murdering innocents”, dozens of JRL activists led by JKLF Chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik held peaceful demonstrations at Jama Masjid to protest civilian killings at the hands of government forces.

The protesters appealed United Nations to take strong note of the worst human rights violations in Kashmir and exerted a pull on India to stop targeting innocent civilians.

Addressing the protesters, JKLF Chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik said JRL will be forced to launch an agitation incase India won’t stop its forces to target civilian population.

He alleged that India has surpassed all the limits of oppression in Kashmir valley with world community watching slaughter of civilian population as a mute spectator.

“I appeal to the United Nations to kindly take serious note of the worst ever human rights violation in Kashmir. India must be held accountable and pressure be exerted on it to stop killing civilians. In case the trend continues the leadership will be forced to launch massive agitation,” Malik added.
